Leaks account for approximately 1/7th of the water used in the average home. Often leaks are silent, occurring without the homeowner’s knowledge. The leaks are like a hidden tax.
Not counting water leaks or irrigation, the average person uses 58.8 gallons of water per day according to the American Water Works Association.
